Flexible Drive-Away Awning

Outwell Talladega Air is an air awning from Danish Outwell. The awning is extremely easy to pitch and pack away and fits most vehicles with a height up to 200 cm to the rail or roof. Two key advantages compared to other awnings are that it runs along the vehicle, giving you a large living space without taking up your neighbour’s pitch, and that it can be used as a regular family tent without the connecting tunnel.

About Outwell Talladega Air

Outwell Talladega Air offers high comfort. Because the awning runs alongside the vehicle instead of straight out, you get generous interior space even when using an inner tent. The pre-shaped air beams provide excellent standing height throughout most of the awning. Access is easy via the large front door, side door, or the small doors in the tunnel. On warm days, the entire front can be opened to create a sheltered outdoor area. If insects are present, simply close the mesh doors. The sewn-in groundsheet eliminates drafts, keeps insects out and reduces condensation.

The tunnel has a large door allowing the awning to open towards the vehicle. If you wish to drive away, simply close the doors and detach the tunnel. The awning can also be used without the tunnel.

Large tinted windows create a bright interior while maintaining privacy. Curtains with zippers allow easy light control. The durable fabric with a 3000 mm hydrostatic head and taped seams ensures reliable weather protection.

Questions & Answers Air/Smart Air
1. How durable are the air tubes?
The tubes consist of three layers: durable polyester outer layer, protective PVC layer and TPU air tube. They are more wind-resistant than steel or fibreglass poles. Always use a pump with pressure gauge and do not exceed the recommended pressure.

2. What happens if a tube is punctured?
The tubes are separate, so the awning will not collapse. They can be repaired using a repair kit or tape. Both tubes and valves are fully replaceable.
