Quick-mounted freestanding car tent

Outwel Parkville 260SA is a car tent with air ducts from Danish Outwell. The tent is extremely easy to assemble and pitch and fits most cars with a height of up to 200 cm to the strip or roof. Just attach the tent fabric to the ground with the connection against the car, pumping up the channels integrated in the tent fabric that form the frame of the tent. Then attach the tent via the keder strip on the car / awning, against the railing or over the car. The only pole is the one that sits over the small protection at the opening in the front.

About Outwell Parkville 260SA

Outwell Parkville belongs to Outwell's premium range and is a durable, stable and very fast-pitched car tent. A tent cloth with a water column of 6000 mm, taped seams, strong storm lines and their Power Air System Frame provide a tent that can withstand all weathers without problems. Thanks to the depth of 2.6 meters and the curved air ducts that provide a good ceiling height in large parts of the tent, it is a tent that provides good with usable surface. Both the car and the tent are easily accessible via the large front door, via the door on the side of the tent or the small doors on the sides of the connection. On hot days, the entire front opens to create a sheltered patio. If there are small insects on the move, just pull the mosquito door in front or on the tent doors on the sides. The tent also has a fixed floor, which removes cold drafts and keeps out small insects and reduces condensation.

The connection has full-size doors so the tent can be opened completely towards the car. If you then want to go away with the car and leave the tent, all you have to do is close the doors and unlock the connection from the car. If extra sleeping space is needed, there is also a sleeping cabin for two people as an option.

The large tinted windows provide a bright indoor environment while reducing transparency. The tent windows are equipped with curtains as with zippers. So it is easy to regulate both light and transparency in the tent.

The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories to the tent. The included hooks also make it possible to hang equipment or clothes in the tent.

Questions and answers Air / Smart Air
1. How durable are the air ducts?
The channels consist of three layers. Finally, a layer of strong polyester, then a protective layer of PVC and then comes the channel itself in TPU. The construction makes the ducts more resistant to wind than steel and fiberglass rods. It is important, however, that you only use a pump with a pressure gauge and do not pump up a higher pressure than that specified for the tent as there is a risk of destroying the channels.

2. What happens if there is a hole in the duct or a valve breaks? Is the tent collapsing?
The channels are separated so it does not collapse if there are holes in a channel. They can also be repaired with a repair kit or gaffer tape / silicone tape. Both ducts and valves are completely replaceable.
