About the Outwell Michigan 4 Air Family Tent

The Michigan 4 Air is a stylish and practical tent for up to four people, featuring a new design that offers a smart storage area next to the sleeping cabin. With doors accessible from both the outside of the tent and the living area, it is easy to keep your gear organized without disturbing the sleeping space.

The bright living area has large tinted windows that reduce visibility and heat while creating a pleasant environment for relaxation and socializing. The boxy shape and curved air channels provide extra ceiling height and freedom of movement. Thanks to dual doors – a rainproof side entrance and a large front opening – the tent is both flexible and easily accessible in any weather.

A robust tent fabric made of Outtex® 4000 Select, taped seams, and a fully sealed floor protect against rain, wind, and insects. The Rigid Air System makes it quick and easy to pitch the tent, and the stable construction withstands even tough weather conditions.

Ventilation
The Michigan 4 Air is equipped with rear ventilation that can be fully opened for better airflow on warm days. The tent also features integrated mesh panels that provide effective ventilation and protect against insects, making it ideal for warm climates. Windows and doors have practical adjustment options that improve airflow and make it easy to adapt the tent to the weather.
 

The Living Area

The living area is bright and spacious, with an impressive ceiling height that provides plenty of freedom of movement. The large tinted windows create a comfortable environment while reducing heat and visibility. The tent’s front door can be fully opened to create a sheltered outdoor space, perfect for warm days. Doors to the storage area and sleeping cabin make it easy to keep the tent organized and efficiently use its spaces.

Outwell HookTrack System
The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories inside the tent. The included hooks also allow you to hang equipment or clothes in the tent. 
 

Sleeping Cabin

The sleeping cabin is darkened to reduce light intake and provide better sleeping comfort. The extra space next to the sleeping cabin is excellent for storing gear and offers easy access through doors from both the outside and the living area. The cabin is spacious enough to accommodate wider beds and additional luggage, making it perfect for longer camping trips.

Outwell Dark Inners
Thicker dark fabric throughout the sleeping cabin and in the material above it minimizes the impact of many campers' worst enemy: the morning sun. The sleeping cabin also features a curtain that can be rolled down over the ventilation to reduce the light entering through the vent.
 

Outwell Quick & Quiet
One of the bedrooms features a magnetic strip in addition to the zipper (Outwell Quick & Quiet Inner door). This solution allows access to the sleeping cabin without using the zipper, making it possible to enter and exit without waking the rest of the family.  

Other Features

The tent fabric is completely waterproof with taped seams and is flame-retardant. The inner tent is pre-assembled upon delivery and does not need to be detached when packing up the tent. Color-coded poles and pegs simplify the setup.
