Spacious Family Tent

The Outwell Denver 5 is an evolution of the bestseller Outwell Greenwood. A five-person family tent with many practical features and extra-large windows in the living area. The spacious living area provides plenty of room for furniture without feeling cramped, and the dark sleeping cabin with two bedrooms can be opened up into one large bedroom for those who want to keep the family together. A detail that's easy to miss is the large wind- and rain-protected front opening, providing a sheltered area for storage, cooking, or seating.

The big news for 2025 is the Outwell PowerTec Pole System, a new type of fiberglass pole that is significantly more durable and stable than traditional fiberglass poles. This, combined with the robust fabric, makes it a perfect tent for frequent campers.

About Outwell Denver 5 Family Tent

The Outwell Denver 5 is the smaller tent in the Denver series, available for five or six people. The tent features two bedrooms and a spacious living area designed for groups of up to five people, but we also recommend it for families of four to provide a little extra space in the sleeping cabin. The tent has a sewn-in groundsheet throughout, protecting it from wind, insects, and moisture. Combined with the large windows in the living area, this creates a bright and pleasant atmosphere, especially noticeable on cooler evenings or during bad weather.

The family tent has two openings, one on the side and one at the front, making it very flexible in terms of placement and providing great ventilation options on warm days.


Outwell Ventilation
The rear ventilation can be fully opened to create extra airflow in the tent during warm days or mornings. The ventilation at the front above the windows is also generously sized to ensure a good cross-flow. Since both openings of the family tent also feature extra mesh doors, the tent can be fully opened to keep the temperature down, even when there are lots of insects around. Perfect for very warm days or for camping in warmer countries.

 

The Living Area

The large living area feels very airy and pleasant thanks to its 210 cm ceiling height. The large windows create a bright and spacious interior. Additionally, the tent’s windows are equipped with roll-up curtains, making it easy to control the amount of light and privacy. The living area has plenty of space for furniture without feeling cramped.

Outwell HookTrack System
The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories to the tent. The included hooks also allow you to hang gear or clothing inside the tent.
 

Sleeping Cabin

The sleeping cabin in the Outwell Denver 5 is divided into two bedrooms, accommodating two and three people respectively. The partition between the bedrooms can be removed to create one large sleeping area for the whole family. A thicker dark fabric in the sleeping cabin, as well as in the outer tent fabric over the sleeping cabin, reduces the impact of many tent campers' worst enemy: the morning sun. The sleeping cabin also features a curtain that can be rolled down over the ventilation opening to reduce the amount of light entering through the vent.

Outwell Quick & Quiet
The central bedroom features a magnetic strip in addition to the zipper, allowing the door to be opened and closed without using the zipper (Outwell Quick & Quiet Inner Door). This solution enables access to and from the sleeping cabin without disturbing the rest of the family.

 

Other Features

The tent fabric is fully waterproof with taped seams and treated with flame retardant. The impregnation is PFC-free. The outer tent doors are also equipped with zippers along the bottom edge to seal them tightly to the ground. The inner tent is pre-attached upon delivery and does not need to be detached when the tent is packed away. The poles are color-coded for easier setup.
