Outwell Boston 6 Air TC is a spacious family tent with high comfort and smart design. The darkened sleeping cabins with Ambassador design offer generous space and reduced light entry for better sleep. The large open front extension provides a sheltered outdoor area to sit in, protects the entrance from rain, sun and wind, and also offers generous space for storing bikes, a pushchair or other equipment you do not want to bring into the tent. Its large front door can be fully opened, helping to keep the temperature down on warm days. Combined with tinted windows, flexible curtains and a headroom that creates a bright and spacious feel, the Boston 6 Air TC is perfect for families who want a large yet flexible tent. The strong technical cotton fabric and aerodynamic construction handle tough weather conditions, while the air tubes and integrated groundsheet make the tent both highly wind-resistant and easy to pitch. Made from the breathable Outtex® Airtech fabric, it ensures a comfortable indoor climate – perfect for holidays in warm weather. It also includes the new integrated, patented Outwell Light System, which provides dimmable and functional lighting in the living area for cosy evenings in the tent.

About the Outwell Boston 6 Air TC Family Tent

Outwell Boston 6 Air TC is a family tent designed for families or groups of up to 6 people, but we also recommend it for families with 2 or 3 children, as the extra space in the bedrooms and living area provides additional room for luggage and wider beds. The living area with large windows makes the tent bright and pleasant to spend time in, so whatever the weather, there is space to eat and socialise on holiday. The large sheltered front entrance provides an outdoor area to sit in or to store equipment under. The sides of it can be opened up on days when you only want shade. The large front door can be opened in two sections, which means it can be fully opened on warm days or, for example, just partly opened to open up the tent while still getting more protection from wind and prying eyes. A sealed groundsheet sewn to the flysheet protects the tent from wind, insects and dirt. 

The combination of air tubes, a strong fabric and a unique guyline construction means the tent can withstand extreme winds (tested up to 88 km/h). The air tubes are also bent at the top to create a larger area with standing height inside the tent. 

Outwell Boston 6 Air TC has a large front opening and two smaller openings on the sides. The side openings make both the sleeping area and the living area easy to access, while the large front opening opens up the tent on warm days. The front door can be opened fully or halfway. All doors can be rolled completely aside, creating a fully open and airy tent on warm days. Mesh panels both in the front door and on the sides allow extra ventilation without letting in small insects.

Ventilation
The rear ventilation can be fully opened to create extra airflow in the tent on warm days or in the morning. The front ventilation is also generously sized to provide better through-flow. Two low vents by the windows also provide extra airflow through the tent. Since the openings of the family tent also have integrated mesh panels that can be opened up, you can create extra airflow through the tent even when there are many small insects around. Perfect for really hot days or for those camping in countries with warmer climates.
 

The living area

The living area is spacious with a headroom of 225 cm. The large tinted windows keep the heat down and minimise visibility from outside while providing a bright and pleasant indoor environment. The tent windows are equipped with roll-up curtains that are easily adjusted with zips, making it simple to choose how much light or privacy you want. The living area is also excellent for furnishing and using as a dining area. On warm days, the front opening can be fully opened to use the living area as a sheltered outdoor space. 

Outwell Light System 
Outwell Boston 6 Air TC is equipped with a dimmable light strip in the ceiling of the living area, providing pleasant light inside the tent. The light is easily controlled via the controller located on the outside of one air tube. It is then powered via USB, for example by a power bank, power station or phone charger (not included).

Outwell HookTrack System
Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories inside the tent. The included hooks also make it possible to hang up equipment or clothes in the tent. 
 

The sleeping cabin

The sleeping cabin is divided into three bedrooms (2+2+2). The walls between the bedrooms can be removed if you want to gather the whole family in one large bedroom or divide it into one larger bedroom and one smaller one. A unique detail is the extra spacious sleeping cabin (Outwell Ambassador Bedroom), which gives you extra space in both length and height compared with normal tent cabins, where the beds take up the full length and the rear wall often gives low headroom in large parts of the room. Perfect for moving luggage into the sleeping cabin or simply having a little extra space to move around. Since the sleeping cabin is also made from technical cotton, which is significantly thicker than pure polyester, you also get a warmer feel and less light entry in the sleeping cabin.

Outwell Dark Inners
A stronger dark fabric throughout the sleeping cabin and in the fabric above the sleeping cabin minimises the effect of many tent campers’ worst enemy: the morning sun. The sleeping cabin also has a curtain that can be rolled down over the ventilation to reduce the light entering through the vent.
 

Outwell Quick & Quiet

Access
The door between the entrance and the living area is equipped with both standard zips and a magnetic strip (Outwell Quick & Quiet Access). Thanks to the magnetic strip, the door can be opened and closed smoothly without having to use the zip, making it easy and convenient to move between the entrance and the living area without having to bend down or struggle with zips.

Inner door
One bedroom has, in addition to the zip, a magnetic strip so it can be opened and closed without using the zip (Outwell Quick & Quiet Inner Door). A solution that makes it possible to get in and out of the sleeping cabin without waking the rest of the family.  

Other

The tent fabric is completely waterproof with taped seams and is flame-retardant. The inner tent is pre-attached on delivery and does not need to be removed when the tent is packed away. Colour-coded poles and pegs simplify pitching.
