Robens Prospector Shanty is a tent that takes its design sheep tents during the American gold rush. But that's where the similarities end, as the tent has an innovative cotton-mixed canvas that provides a really good climate in the tent, a sewn-in floor that keeps small insects out, mesh windows that ventilate and provide good light. So camp with retro style without sacrificing comfort.

About Roben's Prospector Shanty

Robens Prospector Shanty is adapted for up to 6 people but is also suitable for the couple or family with one or two children who want to furnish with furniture to be able to spend time in the tent. By mixing cotton and polyester, the tent gets a significantly better indoor climate than other tents. This is because the cotton breathes in heat and insulates more in cold. It also provides a significantly quieter indoor environment. In other words, you can say goodbye to the rustle when it's windy and the classic tent smell that comes with synthetic fabrics on hot days. The canvas is very resistant to water and in heavy rain, the cotton fibers in the canvas swell, making the canvas completely tight. The strong canvas in combination with the steel frame provides a fantastically stable tent that can withstand wind forces of up to 195 km/h.

The tent is easily accessible through the large front opening that opens fully to ventilate the tent on hot days. Two large openable vents both at the front and back of the tent act as windows to let in more light and to ventilate the tent. The Robens Prospector Shanty can also be completed with a tarp in front of the entrance to create a protected area outside the tent. The tent is of the ridge type and is erected by assembling the legs and ridge from inside the tent.
