Outwell Rockland 5P is a stable tent that suits a family of five who are looking for a really good tent with high comfort. Its design is reminiscent of a smaller cottage with a protected entrance at the front. A living area with large windows and a ceiling height of 215 cm as well as a inner tent with two sleeping areas and a good protection from the morning sun provides a fantastic accommodation on the campsite. Thanks to double zippers, the front door of the tent can also be opened in full or in part to use the tent as a sheltered patio. A smart detail is that the living area can be extended to the entire length of the tent. A good feature for the days you spend in the tent or if you get visitors.

About Outwell Rockland 5P Family Tent

Outwell Rockland 5P is a family tent aimed at families with two or three children who are looking for a family tent with high quality and comfort. Steel poles combined with a strong fabric with reinforcements at exposed points provide a tent that is stable regardless of the weather on offer. The bent poles make the walls straighter and a very large proportion of the floor space in the living area has a standing height. Large windows provide a bright and pleasant tent and if you want to reduce transparency, there are curtains on all windows.

Outwell Rockland 5P has two openings where it is a large rain-protected opening that can open from two directions, which means that it can be fully open on hot days or, for example, only the upper part to open up the tent but get more protection from wind and visibility. The second door from the side provides quick access to both the inner tent and the living area and makes the tent both easily placed and provides the opportunity for additional ventilation on hot days. The family tent also has a sealed floor sewn to the outer tent, which protects the tent from wind, insects and dirt.

Outwell Crossflow Ventilation
The ventilation at the back can be opened up completely to create extra air flow in the tent during hot days or in the morning. The ventilation at the front is also considerably increased to get a better continuous flow. As the family tent's openings also have mesh doors, you can open the tent completely to keep the temperature in the tent down, even if there are a lot of small insects on the move. Perfect for really hot days or for you who are camping in countries with warmer climates.
 

The Living Area

The living area with a ceiling height of 215 cm and the large windows provide a light and airy indoor environment. The size gives the opportunity to furnish it with tables and chairs for days with worse weather or to sit protected from wind and small insects during the evenings. The tent's windows are also equipped with folding curtains, which makes it easy to choose how much light or transparency you want.

Removable front
A smart feature is that the door in the front can be disassembled and moved to the far end of the tent. Then roll out the built-in floor in the front and fasten it on the other side and the living room is extended by 115 cm. A really good feature in bad weather when you want to create extra space for the children or if you get a visit.  
 

Outwell HookTrack System
The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories to the tent. The included hooks also make it possible to hang equipment or clothes up in the tent.  
 

The Inner Tent

The inner tent is divided into three sleeping areas (3 + 2 + 2). A unique detail is the extra spacious inner tent (Outwell Ambassador sleeping area) which gives you extra space both in length and height compared to normal tent cabins where the beds take up the entire length and the back wall often provides low height in large parts of the room. Perfect for moving packs into the inner tent or just having a little extra space to move around. The wall between the sleeping areas can be removed to gather the whole family in one large sleeping area. 

Outwell Dark Inners
A thicker dark fabric throughout the inner tent, as well as in the canvas above the inner tent, minimises the effect of many tent campers' worst enemy, the morning sun The inner tent also has a curtain that can be rolled down over the ventilation to reduce the light that enters through it.
 

Outwell Quick & Quiet
In addition to the zip, one sleeping area has a magnetic strip so it can be opened and closed without a zip (Outwell Quick & Quiet Inner door). This is a solution that allows you to get in and out of the inner tent without waking the rest of the family.  

Other

The tent fabric is completely waterproof with taped seams and is treated with flame-retardant. The inner tent is pre-assembled on delivery and does not need to be detached when the tent is packed. Poles and pegs are colour-coded for easier installation.
