Family Tent with Dual Living Areas

The Outwell Phoenix 5 is a spacious tent with two bedrooms, a bright and pleasant living area, and an additional outdoor room at the front without flooring that can be used as a sheltered patio or for storing equipment. This design, common in England, is referred to as outer room, inner room, and bedroom. The main part of the tent, including the sleeping cabin and living room, features a fully sewn-in floor to protect against drafts, insects, and condensation. Magnetic closures/openings in the sleeping cabin make it easy and quiet to enter and exit, while darkened walls and ceilings protect against morning sun and provide the extra comfort desired during a camping holiday. 

The major innovation for 2025 is the new PowerTec poles, which, thanks to their square shape, offer increased strength and wind resistance. These poles perform 40% better than traditional round fiberglass poles.

About Outwell Phoenix 5 Family Tent

The Outwell Phoenix 5 is a family tent designed for families or groups of up to five people, divided into 2 bedrooms. The tent is based on three zones, a concept commonly used in England, referred to as outer room, inner room, and bedroom. 

Thanks to color-coded poles, the tent is easy to set up despite its size. It features a durable tent fabric that not only withstands rain and wind but also rustles less than simpler fabrics when it moves. Large windows create a bright and pleasant tent, and if you want more privacy, curtains are available on all windows. 

The family tent has two doors, one on the side and one at the front. The side entrance makes the inner living area easily accessible, facilitates placement on the campsite, and can also be opened during warm days to ventilate the tent.
 

The Living Areas

The tent has two large rooms that can be used for socializing or, for example, storage. Thanks to the fact that both spaces have their own entrance, it is easy to separate activities or, for example, fill the outer room with luggage. 
Large tinted windows provide a very pleasant light while protecting against visibility. The tent’s windows are also equipped with roll-up curtains that can be adjusted to three positions, making it easy to choose how much light or privacy you want.

The inner room has a fully sealed floor. By closing the door to the outer room, you can ensure there is no draft or that any insects enter. This is a highly appreciated feature in the evening or during bad weather. Both rooms are perfect for furnishing.  

Outwell HookTrack System
The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories inside the tent. The included hooks also allow you to hang equipment or clothes inside the tent.
 

The Sleeping Cabins

The sleeping cabin is divided into two bedrooms (3+2). A dark fabric in the sleeping cabin reduces the effect of many tent campers' worst enemy, the morning sun. The sleeping cabin also features a curtain that can be rolled down over the ventilation opening to reduce the light entering through the vent.

Outwell Quick & Quiet
The large bedroom features a magnetic strip in addition to the zipper, allowing the door to open and close without using the zipper (Outwell Quick & Quiet Inner door). This solution makes it possible to enter and exit the bedroom without waking the rest of the family. 

 

Miscellaneous

The tent fabric is completely waterproof with taped seams and is flame retardant. The inner tent is pre-assembled upon delivery and does not need to be detached when packing up the tent. The poles are color-coded for easier assembly.
