Quick to Pitch and Spacious

Spend time socializing instead of setting up the tent. With the Outwell Parkdale 6PA, you'll have your tent up in no time. All you need to do is to secure the tent fabric to the ground, then inflate each channel with the included pump. Then, just secure the guylines, and the tent is ready to use. Simple, smart, and quick. In other words, you avoid the most time-consuming part of assembling, threading, and pitching the tent with poles. Dark bedrooms, a large living area with a fully sewn-in groundsheet, and an extra room without a floor in the front provide a tent with very high comfort.

About the Outwell Parkdale 6PA Family Tent

The Outwell Parkdale 6PA is a large family tent designed for families or groups of up to six people, divided into three bedrooms, but it's also popular for families with two older children where they want their own bedrooms. Instead of poles, it uses Outwell's Rigid Air technology, replacing the poles with air channels for easy assembly. The four channels are easily inflated via the valve on the lower edge of one side of the tent. In other words, the tent is easily pitched by one person. In addition to easy assembly, the tent has a durable tent fabric that not only withstands rain and wind but also rustles less than simpler fabrics when it moves. Outwell Parkdale's layout is based on three zones, a principle common in England, usually called the outer room, inner room, and bedrooms (wet room, dry room & interiors).

Large windows make for a bright and pleasant tent, and if you want to reduce visibility from outside, there are curtains on all windows. The family tent has two doors, one on the side and a large one in front. The side entrance makes the tent's inner living area easily accessible and facilitates placement on the campsite and can also be opened up on warm days to air the tent. The large opening in front covers the entire front, making it easy to fully open the tent and use the front living area as a protected outdoor room.

Outwell Quick & Quiet
The door between the living area and the outer room, as well as the door to one of the bedrooms, in addition to the zipper, have a magnetic strip so it can be opened and closed without a zipper. A solution that makes it easy to move between the tent's rooms, get in and out of the sleeping cabin without waking the rest of the family, and to get in and out of the tent without having to use the zipper (if the outer door is open).

Outwell Crossflow Ventilation
The ventilation at the back can be fully opened to create extra airflow in the tent on warm days or in the morning. The front ventilation is also generously sized to provide a better continuous flow. Since the family tent's side entrance also has a net door, you can open the tent to keep the temperature down even when there are a lot of small insects around. Perfect for really hot days or for those who camp in warmer countries.

The Living Areas

The tent has two larger rooms for socializing. Both rooms are spacious, and it's also possible to open the door between the two rooms to create one large room. Large tinted windows along the sides and the front windows provide a very pleasant light while protecting against visibility from outside. The tent's windows are also equipped with roll-up curtains adjustable in three positions, making it easy to choose how much light or visibility you want.

The outer room, thanks to the large windows on the sides and the front door, can be used for dining or socializing either with the door closed, fully, or partially open. If you want a floor in the outer room, you can purchase a floor protector (not included).

The inner room has a completely sealed floor. By closing the door to the outer room, you can ensure that there are no drafts or small insects getting in. A very appreciated feature in the evenings. Both rooms are excellently suitable for furnishing.

Outwell HookTrack System
The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories in the tent. The included hooks also make it possible to hang equipment or clothes in the tent.

The Sleeping Cabin

The sleeping cabin is divided into three bedrooms, each accommodating two people. The walls between the bedrooms can also be removed if you want to change the layout or gather the entire family in one large bedroom. A heavier dark fabric in the sleeping cabin minimizes the effect of evening and morning sun. The sleeping cabin also has a curtain that can be rolled down over the ventilation to reduce the light coming in through it.

Other Features

The tent fabric is completely waterproof with taped seams and is flame retardant. It also has a sealed floor sewn to the outer tent, which protects the tent against wind, insects, and dirt. The inner tent is pre-assembled upon delivery and does not need to be detached when the tent is packed up.

Questions and Answers about Outwell Air

1. How durable are the air channels?
The channels consist of three layers. The outermost is a layer of heavy polyester, then a protective layer of PVC, and finally, the actual channel in TPU. The construction makes the channels more resistant to wind than steel and fiberglass poles. However, it is important to only use the included pump and not to inflate to a higher pressure than recommended for the tent as it may damage the channels.

2. What happens if there is a hole in a channel or a valve breaks? Does the tent collapse?
The channels are separate in Air tents. So the tent does not collapse if there is a hole. All channels are easily replaceable, and if it's a smaller hole, it can also be temporarily fixed with an Outwell repair patch, duct tape, or silicone tape. Should a valve in the tents stop functioning, it is also easy to replace.
