The practical area next to the sleeping cabin provides space for gear or socializing, with easy access via a door from the outside or directly from the living area. A bright and airy living room with an impressive ceiling height of 230 cm can be made even larger and more open by removing one sleeping cabin. About Outwell Maryland 5 Air Family Tent

The Maryland 5 Air is a luxurious and stylish tent for up to five people, featuring a new design with a smart storage area next to the sleeping cabin. With doors both from the outside of the tent and the living area, it is easy to keep equipment organized without disturbing the sleeping area. One sleeping cabin can also be removed to make the large living room even bigger.

The bright living room has large tinted windows that reduce visibility and heat while creating a pleasant environment for relaxation and socializing. The boxy shape and curved air tubes provide extra ceiling height and freedom of movement. Thanks to dual doors – a rain-safe side entrance and a large front opening – the tent is both flexible and easily accessible regardless of the weather.

A durable tent fabric made of Outtex® 6000 Express Rip-Stop, taped seams, and a fully sealed floor protect against rain, wind, and insects. The Rigid Air System makes it easy to pitch the tent quickly, and the sturdy construction can withstand tough weather conditions.



Ventilation
The Maryland 5 Air is equipped with rear ventilation that can be fully opened for better airflow on warm days. The tent also features integrated mesh panels that provide effective ventilation and protection against small insects, making it ideal for warm climates. Windows and doors have practical adjustment options that enhance airflow and make it easy to adapt the tent to the weather.
 

The Living Room

The living room is bright and spacious with an impressive ceiling height that provides plenty of freedom of movement. The large tinted windows create a comfortable environment while reducing heat and visibility. The tent’s front door can be fully opened to create a sheltered patio, perfect for warm days. The magnetic door to the storage area makes it quick and easy to keep organized and use the tent's spaces smartly.

Outwell HookTrack System
The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories in the tent. The included hooks also make it possible to hang equipment or clothes in the tent. 
 

The Sleeping Cabin

The sleeping cabin is darkened to reduce light exposure and provide better sleeping comfort. The extra space next to the sleeping cabin is perfect for socializing or as additional storage for equipment, with easy access through doors from both the outside and the living area. The sleeping cabin is spacious enough to accommodate wider beds and extra luggage, making it ideal for longer camping trips. One sleeping cabin can also be removed to make the large living room even bigger.

Outwell Dark Inners
A thicker dark fabric throughout the sleeping cabin and the canopy above minimizes the effect of many campers' worst enemy, the morning sun. The sleeping cabin also has a curtain that can be rolled down over the ventilation to reduce the light coming in through the vent.
 

Outwell Quick & Quiet
One bedroom and the door to the storage area have a magnetic strip in addition to the zipper, allowing them to be opened and closed without using the zipper (Outwell Quick & Quiet Inner door). A solution that makes it possible to enter and exit the sleeping cabin without waking the rest of the family.  

Other Features

The tent fabric is completely waterproof with taped seams and is flame-retardant. The inner tent is pre-attached upon delivery and does not need to be detached when the tent is packed up. Color-coded poles and pegs make setup easier.
