Outwell Oakdale 6PA is designed to accommodate both kitchen tables with chairs and a surface to furnish for socialising in a more relaxed way. The extension on the side gives a width of the living area of a full 530 cm, which provides good space for both sofa, table and armchairs in addition to the usual dining table. The tent not only has a large living area but also has an extra long dark inner tent and an extra room in the front that can be opened on completely hot days. Air channels make the tent very easy to pitch and it is no problem for one person to pitch.

About Outwell Heartsdale 6PA Family Tent

Outwell Heartsdale 6PA has been developed with a focus on creating a "Home Away From Home" with plenty of space to both eat and socialise in the tent. The extra extension on the side is specially developed just to provide a space corresponding to the living room. Two spacious dark sleeping areas also provide good sleeping comfort. The tent uses Outwell's Rigid Air System technology where the poles have been replaced with air channels for extremely easy installation. The five channels are easily pumped up via the valve in the lower edge on one side of the tent. Then attach the pole for the roof over the opening at the front. In other words, the tent can easily be pitched by one person. In addition to the simple assembly, the tent has a durable tent fabric that not only withstands rain and wind but also rustles less than simpler fabrics when it moves.

Large windows provide a bright and pleasant tent and if you want to reduce transparency, there are curtains on all windows. The family tent has two doors, one on the side and a large front. The side entrance makes the living area and inner tent easily accessible and facilitates placement on the campsite and can also be opened on hot days to ventilate the tent. The large opening at the front covers the entire front so it is easy to open up the tent completely and use the living area as a protected conservatory.
 

Outwell Crossflow Ventilation
The ventilation at the back can be opened up completely to create extra air flow in the tent during hot days or in the morning. As well, the ventilation at the front is substantially increased in order to get a better continuous flow. As the family tent's three openings also have mesh doors, you can open the tent completely to keep the temperature in the tent down, even if there are a lot of small insects on the move. Perfect for really hot days or for those who camp in warmer countries.
 

The Living Area

The living area is very spacious and can be furnished with both tables, chairs and other camping furniture. The large tinted windows provide a very pleasant light throughout the room while minimising transparency. The tent's windows are also equipped with folding curtains, which makes it easy to choose how much light or transparency you want.

Outwell Wing Lounge
The Outwell Wing Lounge means that the tent's living area has an extension that provides extra space to spend time in the tent.   
 

Outwell HookTrack System
The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories to the tent. The included hooks also make it possible to hang equipment or clothes in the tent.
 

The Inner Tent

The inner tent is divided into two sleeping areas with room for two people in each. The wall in the middle of the sleeping area can also be removed if you want to gather the whole family in a large sleeping area. A heavier dark fabric in the inner tent minimises the effect of evening and morning sun. The inner tent also has a curtain that can be rolled down over the ventilation to reduce the light that enters through it.

Outwell Quick & Quiet
In addition to the zip, one sleeping area has a magnetic strip so it can be opened and closed without a zip (Outwell Quick & Quiet Inner door). This is a solution that allows you to get in and out of the inner tent without waking the rest of the family.

The tent has a properly sized ventilation that can be easily adjusted to get the desired air flow. The tent fabric is completely waterproof with taped seams and is treated with flame-retardant. The main part of the tent also has a sealed floor sewn to the outer tent, which protects the tent from wind, insects and dirt. The pegs are colour-coded for easier installation.


Questions and Answers Outwell Air 
1. How durable are the air channels?
The channels consist of three layers. Finally, a layer of strong polyester, then a protective layer of PVC and then comes the channel itself in TPU. The construction makes the channels more resistant to wind than steel and fiberglass poles. It is important, however, that you only use the supplied pump and do not pump to a pressure of more than 0.6 bar, as too high a pressure risks damaging the channels. 

2. What happens if there is a hole in the channel or a valve breaks? Will the tent collapse?
The channels are separate so the tent does not collapse if there are holes. All channels can be easily replaced and if it is a small hole, you can also fix it with Outwell's repair kits or with channel tape or a silicone-based tape (which can withstand pressures above 1 bar). Should a valve in the tents stop working, they are also easy to replace.
