Outwell Greenwood 6 is a further development of the bestselling Outwell Willwod 6. A very spacious six-person family tent with many practical details and extra large windows in the living area. One detail that is easy to miss is the large wind and rain-protected opening at the front that provides a protected surface for storage, cooking or chairs.

The big news for 2023 is Outwell Quick & Quiet Access. Double doors in the front where the inner door has large mosquito net panels and a magnetic strip in the middle that gives it a position where it can be opened and closed without using the zipper. Perfect for those occasions when you want to be able to get in and out of the tent quickly and easily without opening the door completely.

About Outwell Greenwood 6 Family Tent

Outwell Greenwood 6 is a tunnel tent with two bedrooms and a spacious living area that is suitable for parties of up to six people, but we also recommend it for families of four or five to provide a little extra space in the inner tents. The tent has a sewn-in floor under the entire tent, which protects the tent from wind, insects and moisture. Combined with the large windows in the living area, you get a bright and pleasant climate in the living area. Something that is especially noticeable on colder evenings and in worse weather. 

The family tent has three openings, one on each side and one at the front, which makes the tent very flexible in terms of placement and creates good opportunities to ventilate the tent during hot days.

Outwell Quick & Quiet
A good feature is that the tent has double doors at the front. The exterior door with large windows with curtains and the interior with large mesh panels. In addition to the zipper, the inner one also has a magnetic strip in the middle, which allows you to go in and out of the tent without opening the zipper. Both doors can be rolled away to use just one or open the tent completely. In addition to the zipper, the door to one of the bedrooms also has a magnetic strip. A solution that makes it easy to get in and out of the tent during the day and to get in and out of the sleeping cabin without having to fuss with zippers.

Outwell Crossflow Ventilation
The ventilation at the back can be opened up completely to create extra air flow in the tent during hot days or in the morning. The ventilation at the front is also considerably increased to get a better continuous flow. As the family tent's three openings also have mesh doors, you can open the tent to keep the temperature in the tent down, even if there are a lot of small insects on the move. Perfect for really hot days or for you who are camping in countries with warmer climates.

 

The living area

The large living area feels very airy and nice thanks to the ceiling height of 210 cm. Angled poles provide good ceiling height throughout the living area. The large windows provide a light and airy indoor environment. The tent's windows are also equipped with curtains that can be adjusted in three levels, which makes it easy to choose how much light or transparency you want. The living area has plenty of space for furniture without it becoming cramped.

Outwell HookTrack System
The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories to the tent. The included hooks also make it possible to hang equipment or clothes in the tent. 
 

The inner tent

The inner tent in Outwell Greenwood 6 is divided into two bedrooms with room for three in each. The wall between the bedrooms can be removed to gather the whole family in one large bedroom. A heavier dark fabric in the inner tent and in the outer tent fabric over the inner tent reduces the effect of many tent campers' worst enemy, the morning sun. The inner tent also has a curtain that can be rolled down over the ventilation opening to reduce the light that enters via the valve.

Outwell Quick & Quiet
In addition to the zipper, the master bedroom has a magnetic strip so that the door can be opened and closed without a zipper (Outwell Quick & Quiet Inner door). A solution that allows you to get in and out of the inner tent without waking the rest of the family. 

 

Other

The tent fabric is completely waterproof with taped seams and is also flame retardant. The doors in the outer tent are also equipped with zippers that go at the bottom so you can make them tight against the floor. The inner tent is pre-assembled on delivery and does not need to be detached when the tent is packed. The poles are colour-coded for easier installation.
