The Robens Chaser 1 is a lightweight tent made of durable materials and is aimed at tougher adventures where low weight and high performance are critical. The tent is very easy to assemble with a centrally located pole and four integrated corner poles, even in tough winds. The wider waist in combination with the corner pegs makes it spacious inside which provides good comfort despite its smaller size. The tent's fabric is made of ripstop nylon and is silicone-treated, which means that it retains its elasticity even in very wet conditions. During warmer weather, it is possible to set up only the inner tent or roll up the lower part of the outer fabric to enjoy a mosquito-free night under the open sky.

About the Robens Chaser 1 Lightweight Tent

The Robens Chaser 1 is a tent for those who are going on tougher adventures or who prioritize low weight and durability. A centrally located internal pole channel with two complementary smaller poles at each end makes the tent very easy to set up even after a long day's hike.

The tent has a wedge shape with good aerodynamics, while the central arch provides height and width for the tent, while the smaller integrated poles provide good space in the foot and head end. The durable Robens Hydrotex NRS-T tent cloth is made of "rip-stop" nylon, is siliconized inside and out, which gives both a low weight and a resistance to water. What is unique about nylon cloth is that it maintains a good resilience even in really wet conditions. The silicone treatment is also more resistant to UV light than ordinary impregnated polyester cloths. The internal pole channel also provides extra wind resistance and prevents any snow from building up on the tent.

Once out in the field, the Robens Chaser is assembled either with the outer fabric first or with the inner tent assembled, which minimizes the risk of getting water into the tent when erected. It is also possible to travel without an outer tent to sleep under the open sky.
