Packable winter sleeping bag

About the Robens Serac 900

The Robens Serac 900 is a down sleeping bag primarily designed for winter use, but it is also suitable for cold nights in late autumn and early spring. The sleeping bag features a comfortable mummy shape, box-wall construction and 900 grams of responsibly sourced and traceable 85/15 duck down with a fill power of 600 FP.

The hood is anatomically shaped and fits snugly around your head when tightened. Separate adjustments for the upper and lower sections of the hood help minimise heat loss from the head. A useful feature is that the adjusters are positioned on the outside of the sleeping bag, providing greater comfort when tightened. The hood drawcords also have different thicknesses, making them easy to distinguish and adjust even in the dark.

The adjustable insulated collar helps prevent heat from escaping around the neck. The zip is also protected to reduce heat loss along the side. The YKK zip features an auto-lock and two-way opening, allowing it to be opened from the bottom for extra ventilation when the temperature rises.

The outer fabric is made from 20D 400T nylon and the lining from recycled 50D 300T polyester taffeta. The outer fabric consists of 100% recycled nylon. Weighing approximately 1340 grams and with a pack size of just 36 x 22 cm, the Serac 900 combines excellent insulation with a compact format that is easy to pack for cold-weather camping and outdoor adventures.
