Ultralight quilt for hiking

The Robens Scoria Quilt UL is designed for ultralight adventures where every gram in your pack counts. Unlike a traditional sleeping bag, the quilt has a more open construction and is used together with a sleeping mat. By reducing the amount of material underneath the body, where the insulation is compressed by body weight anyway, both weight and pack size can be kept to a minimum while still providing excellent freedom of movement.

The quilt has multiple attachment points with elasticated edges and straps, allowing it to be secured around the sleeping mat. The construction helps keep the quilt in place and reduces draughts during the night. At the neck opening, there is a press stud and internal drawcords that make it easy to adjust the fit and seal the quilt more closely around the body when the temperature drops.

The filling consists of 173 g of traceable 90/10 duck down with 850+ FP, providing excellent insulation in relation to its weight. The H-box construction and differential cut give the down room to loft effectively and help provide even insulation. An insulated collar reduces heat loss around the upper body, while the shaped shark-fin footbox surrounds the feet and features extra insulation to keep them warm.

The outer fabric and lining are made from very lightweight 10D 540T polyester ripstop, and the lining offers good moisture management for increased comfort. On the inside, there is a practical pocket for small belongings. The Scoria Quilt UL can be used as part of an ultralight sleep system and is an extremely lightweight and packable alternative to a traditional down sleeping bag.
