Quick-Setup Free-Standing Drive-Away Awning

The Outwell Parkville 200SA is a drive-away awning with air tubes from the Danish brand Outwell. The tent is extremely easy to set up and pitch, suitable for motorhomes with a connection height up to 200 cm to the rail. Simply attach the tent fabric to the ground with the tunnel facing the vehicle, inflate the integrated air tubes in the tent fabric to form the tent frame. Then attach the tent via the keder rail or magnetic fittings to the vehicle or awning. The only pole is the one creating the sun canopy over the front entrance.

About Outwell Parkville 200SA Drive-Away Awning

The Outwell Parkville belongs to Outwell's premium range and is a durable, stable, and very quick-to-pitch drive-away awning. A tent fabric with a hydrostatic head of 6000 mm, taped seams, strong guylines, and their Power Air System Frame provides a tent that handles all weather conditions effortlessly. With a depth of 2 meters and bent air tubes offering good ceiling height in large parts of the tent, it provides excellent usable space. Both the vehicle and the tent are easily accessible via the large front door, the side door of the tent, or the small doors on the sides of the tunnel. On warm days, the entire front and sides can be opened to create a sheltered outdoor area. If insects are around, simply close the mosquito doors at the front or the tent’s side doors. The tent also features a sewn-in groundsheet that eliminates drafts, keeps insects out, and reduces condensation.

The tunnel has full-size doors, allowing the tent to be fully opened toward the vehicle. If you wish to leave with the vehicle and leave the tent behind, simply close the doors and detach the tunnel. The large tinted windows provide a bright interior while reducing visibility from the outside.

Questions and Answers: Air/Smart Air

1. How durable are the air tubes?
The tubes consist of three layers. The outermost is a strong polyester layer, followed by a protective PVC layer, and then the actual TPU tube. This construction makes the tubes more wind-resistant than steel and fiberglass poles. However, it is important to only use a pump with a pressure gauge and not exceed the recommended pressure for the tent, as this may damage the tubes.

2. What happens if a tube punctures or a valve breaks? Will the tent collapse?
The tubes are separated, so the tent will not collapse if one tube is damaged. They can also be repaired with a repair kit or duct/silicone tape. Both the tubes and valves are fully replaceable.
