Freestanding motorhome tent with air ducts

Outwel Newburg 240 Air Tall is a camper tent with air ducts from Denmark's Outwell. The tent is extremely easy to assemble and fits most motorhomes or cars with a height between 240 and 270 cm to the rail in the awning, on the roof or to the roof rack. Just attach the tent fabric to the ground with the lock towards the car, pump up the channels integrated in the tent fabric that form the frame of the tent. Then attach the tent via the keder strip to the car/awning, to the roof or with ropes over the car. The only bar is the one that sits over the small cover at the front opening.

About Outwell Newburg 240 Air Motorhome tent 240-270 cm

Outwell Newburg is a stable and very fast-pitched motorhome tent. Thanks to the depth of 2.4 meters and the bent air ducts that provide a good ceiling height in large parts of the tent, it is a tent that provides a good usable surface. Both the mobile home and the tent are easily accessible via the large front door, via the door on the side of the tent or the small doors on the sides of the connection. On warm days, the entire front opens to create a sheltered patio. If there are small insects around, just pull upp the mosquito door at the front. The tent also has a sewn-in floor, which removes cold drafts and keeps out small insects and reduces condensation.

The connection has a full-sized door so the tent can be opened completely towards the motorhome. If you then want to drive away with the car and leave the tent, just close the door and release the connection from the car. If extra sleeping places are needed, there is also a sleeping cabin for two people as an option.

The large tinted windows provide a bright interior environment while reducing visibility. The tent's windows are equipped with curtains that can be adjusted in three steps. So it is easy to regulate both light and visibility in the tent. The tent fabric itself is strong and with a water column of 4000 mm and taped seams you don't have to worry about it not being able to withstand rain and debris.

The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lights or other accessories to the tent. The included hooks also make it possible to hang equipment or clothes in the tent.

Questions and answers Air/Smart Air
1. How durable are the air ducts?
The channels consist of three layers. At the end is a layer of strong polyester, then a protective layer of PVC and then the channel itself in TPU. The construction makes the channels more resistant to wind than steel and fiberglass rods. It is important, however, that you only use a pump with a pressure gauge and do not pump up a higher pressure than that specified for the tent, as this risks destroying the channels.

2. What happens if there is a hole in the duct or a valve breaks? Is the tent collapsing?
The channels are separated so it does not collapse if a hole were to go through a channel. They can also be repaired with a repair kit or gaffer tape/silicone tape. Both channels and valves are completely replaceable.
