Lightweight and Quick-to-Set-Up Drive-Away Awning 

The Dometic Rally Air Tour Drive Away 390 is an easy-to-set-up and flexible awning with air channels that is completely freestanding. This means you can disconnect the awning from the motorhome and leave the standalone tent at the campsite for city adventures. The tent is extremely easy to assemble and pitch, and thanks to dual keder strips, it fits virtually all awnings and strips on the market. Simply attach the tent fabric to the strip on the motorhome's awning, place four pegs in the corners, and inflate the channels integrated into the tent fabric from a valve on the tent. Then secure the seal against the motorhome, and the tent is ready for occupancy. Large window panels around the tent and in the roof provide good light and a really good view. Both the front and side panels can be opened up on warm days.

Dometic Rally Air Pro 390 Drive away is an awning aimed at those of you who are looking for a flexible and fast-mounted motorhome tent with high comfort and which is freestanding. Thanks to the bent air ducts that provide a good roof covering throughout the tent, you get plenty of space despite the tent's smaller size. The fact that it has doors from both sides gives freedom to furnish and still keep the motorhome easily accessible regardless of location on the campsite. If you then want to open up the tent more, both the front and side sections open up. Both sides have mosquito net panels, which provides extra good ventilation without getting small insects into the room.
 

Mounting

Dometic Rally Air Tour Drive Away 390 has two keder strips of 5 and 7 mm so it fits both caravan and motorhome. The Dometic Multi Height System also makes it easy to adjust the height by opening a zipper on the top of the tent.

The rail in the box awning must be 390 cm for the tent to fit. To measure the height, measure from the bottom of the awning down to the ground, feel free to measure both front and back of the awning box. It is important that the height does not exceed 300 cm on either side.

The tent fabric itself is durable, with a hydrostatic head of 6000 mm and hot air-taped seams, so you don’t need to worry about it handling rain and rough weather.

Questions and Answers Dometic Air Channels

1. How durable are the air ducts?
The channels consist of three layers. At the end is a layer of tarpaulin, then a protective layer of PVC and then comes the channel itself in TPU. The construction makes the ducts more resistant to wind than steel and fiberglass rods. It is important, however, that you only use a pump with a pressure gauge and do not pump up a higher pressure than that specified for the tent.

2. What happens if there is a hole in the duct or a valve breaks? Is the tent collapsing?
The ducts are separated by valves. So the tent does not collapse if there were holes in a channel. They can often also be repaired with an airtight tape. Both ducts and valves are completely replaceable.
