Dometic Grande Air Tour 390 is a bright and spacious awning with inflatable air poles, designed for caravans and motorhomes with an awning height of up to 295 cm. The awning is extremely easy to pitch and thanks to the dual keder rails it can be fitted to both caravans and motorhomes. Simply attach the awning fabric to the awning rail, secure four pegs in the corners and inflate the integrated air channels from a single inflation point. Then secure the seal against the vehicle and the awning is ready to use. Large windows around the awning and in the roof provide excellent light and great views, with an extra window on each side compared to Rally. The front panels can be rolled to the side to open up the awning on warm days.

Dope-dyed ripstop polyester offers enhanced UV protection and long lifespan. Combined with the new roof pitch and Air Frame system, the awning is highly stable and performs well in challenging weather conditions. The breathable fabric also improves the indoor climate when exposed to sunlight.

Dometic Grande Air Tour is designed for those looking for a quick-pitch and spacious awning with high comfort. With a depth of 300 cm and angled air poles providing excellent headroom, there is plenty of space for furniture without feeling cramped. Dual side doors offer flexibility when furnishing and easy access to the vehicle. Both front and side panels can be opened for a more open feel. The doors feature mosquito mesh for great ventilation without letting insects in. A draught skirt is also included to prevent wind and insects from entering underneath the vehicle.
 

Setup

Dometic Grande Air Tour features dual keder rails (5 and 7 mm), making it suitable for both caravans and motorhomes. The Dometic Multi Height System allows easy height adjustment via a zip on the side of the awning.

Caravan: Requires a straight awning rail section of 390 cm. If part of the awning covers a window or hatch, sealing can be achieved with poles or limpets (not included).
Motorhome: The cassette awning rail must be 390 cm. Measure from the underside of the awning to the ground, preferably both front and rear. The height must not exceed 295 cm at any point.

FAQ Dometic Air Frame

1. How durable are the air poles?
The poles consist of three layers: an outer tent fabric, a protective PVC layer and an inner TPU air tube. This construction makes them more resistant to wind than steel or fibreglass poles. Always use a pump with pressure gauge and do not exceed the recommended pressure.

2. What happens if a pole gets punctured or a valve fails?
The air poles are separated by valves, so the awning will not collapse if one is damaged. They can often be repaired with airtight tape, and both poles and valves are fully replaceable.
