Sleeping in a hammock

Sleeping in a hammock can feel unfamiliar at first, but after a while, it becomes a fantastic way to spend the night in nature. Start with a low height to feel safer. As nights are often colder, it can also be helpful to add extra insulation. Here are some things to consider before heading out with your hammock.
 

• Rain: If you plan to sleep in your hammock in any weather, add a tarp to hang over you in case of rain.
• Cold: Cold air can creep in from below. Add insulation for the hammock, hang an extra sleeping bag underneath, or place a sleeping mat inside.
• Mosquitoes and insects: If you are easily disturbed by small insects, Robens has a mosquito net available for their hammock.
• Sleeping bags: Regular sleeping bags work fine, but it's easier if you choose one with a zipper in the middle/top instead of on the side.
