Lightweight and Quick-to-Pitch Awning

Dometic's Rally Air Tour S is an easy-to-pitch and flexible awning with air tubes. The awning is extremely easy to set up and pitch and can be mounted on both caravans and motorhomes thanks to its double keder strips. Simply attach the awning fabric to the caravan or motorhome rail, stake four corners, and inflate the integrated air tubes from a single valve on the awning. Then attach the sealing strip against the caravan, and the awning is ready to move into. Large window panels around the awning and in the roof provide good light and great views. Both the front and side panels can be opened on warm days.

The Dometic Rally Air Tour 260 S is aimed at those looking for a smooth and easy-to-pitch awning with high comfort. Thanks to the bent air tubes providing good headroom throughout the awning, you get plenty of space despite the smaller size. Having doors on both sides gives you the freedom to arrange your furniture and still keep the caravan or motorhome accessible regardless of campsite positioning. You can also open both the front and side sections. Both sides have mosquito net panels, offering excellent ventilation without letting bugs inside.
 

Assembly

Dometic Rally Air Tour has two keder strips (5 and 7 mm) fitting both caravans and motorhomes. The Dometic Multi Height System also makes it easy to adjust the height by opening a zipper at the side of the awning.

Caravan: Requires a straight rail section of 260 cm. If a window or hatch falls under one side of the awning, it can be sealed using poles or limpets (not included).
Motorhome: The track in the box awning must be 260 cm for the awning to fit. Measure the height from the underside of the awning to the ground, both at the front and back. Ensure it does not exceed 265 cm on either side.

Questions and Answers on Dometic Air Tubes

1. How durable are the air tubes?
The tubes consist of three layers. The outermost is a layer of awning fabric, then a protective PVC layer, and finally, the TPU tube itself. This construction makes the tubes more resistant to wind than steel and fiberglass poles. It’s important to only use a pump with a pressure gauge and not to overinflate beyond the tent's specified pressure. 

2. What happens if a tube or valve is damaged? Will the awning collapse?
The tubes are separated by valves. So, the awning won't collapse if a tube is punctured. Often, it can be repaired with airtight tape. Both tubes and valves are fully replaceable.
