The Dometic Leggera Air is a lightweight and flexible inflatable awning with air channels. The tent is extremely easy to set up and can be mounted on both caravans and motorhomes thanks to its dual keder strips. Simply attach the tent fabric to the rail of the caravan or motorhome awning, place four pegs in the corners, and inflate the integrated air channels forming the frame from a single valve on the tent. Then secure the seal to the caravan, and the tent is ready for use. A large front window panel allows for a pleasant light inside.

Installation

The Dometic Leggera has two keder strips (5 and 7 mm), making it compatible with both caravans and motorhomes, as well as most motorhome awnings on the market (including Fiamma, Thule, and Dometic).

Motorhome: The rail in the box awning must be 260 cm for the tent to fit. To measure the height, measure from the bottom of the awning down to the ground, checking both the front and back of the awning box. It is important that the measurement does not exceed 295 cm on any side.

Questions and Answers about Dometic Air Channels

1. How durable are the air channels?
The channels consist of three layers. The outermost is a layer of tent fabric, followed by a protective PVC layer, and then the TPU air channel. This construction makes the channels more resistant to wind than steel and fiberglass poles. However, it is important to use a pump with a pressure gauge and not to exceed the specified pressure for the tent.

2. What happens if a channel gets punctured or a valve breaks? Will the tent collapse?
The channels are separated by valves, so the tent will not collapse if one channel is punctured. They can often be repaired with airtight tape. Both channels and valves are fully replaceable.
