By mixing cotton and polyester, Outwell Yosemite Lake 6TC gets a much better indoor climate than other tents as the cotton breathes in the heat and insulates in cold. The fabric also moves less and is quieter. In other words, you can say goodbye to both the rustle when it's windy as well as the classic tent scent and the oppressive heat that comes with synthetic flysheets on hot days. Three bedrooms, a large living room with an attached floor and an extra room in the front that can be opened up on hot days provide good space for the vacation. Magnetic doors between the rooms mean that zippers are not needed to move in the tent and you can open the large door in the front and the three side doors on hot days for extra ventilation.

About Outwell Yosmite Lake 6TC Family Tent

One of the news in Outwell's range is the Yosmite Lake series, which combines a cotton-blended fabric with stable steel rods. Yosmite Lake is a series aimed at those of you who camp a lot and want to maximize your comfort. By mixing cotton and polyester in the tent fabric, the tent gets a much better indoor climate than other tents because of the cotton fabric, which gives a much nicer climate when the sun is up and less condensation in bad weather. It also provides a much quieter indoor environment. In other words, you can say goodbye to both the rustle when it blows and the classic oppressive heat that comes with clean polyester cloths on hot days.

The tent is based on three zones. This is a principle that is common in England and is usually called the outer room, inner room and bedroom. The outer room with a removable floor, can either be used as a dining area or hang wet clothes and store equipment. The next zone is the usual living room with a sewn floor where you can put in a rug and furnish for socializing in the evenings or rainy days when you don't go in and out of the tent too much. The last zone is the bedrooms which are three in total.

Outwell Yosmite Lake 6TC is a tent that has four openings, one on each side of the living room, one from the front and one on the side of the outer room, which makes the tent very flexible in terms of placement and creates good opportunities to easily ventilate the tent during hot days. The large opening in the front opens completely and then makes the family tent's outer room a protected patio. Perfect for nice summer days or for you who are camping in countries with warmer climates. 

Outwell Quick & Quiet
The door between the living room and the outer room and the door to one of the bedrooms have a magnetic strip in addition to the zipper so it can be opened and closed without a zipper. A solution that makes it easy to get between the tent's rooms, get in and out of the sleeping cabin without waking the rest of the family and to get in and out of the tent without having to use the zipper (if the outer door is open).

 

Outwell Crossflow Ventilation
The ventilation at the back can be opened up completely to create extra air flow in the tent during hot days or in the morning. The ventilation at the front is also considerably increased to get a better continuous flow. As all of the openings also have mesh doors, you can open the tent completely to keep the temperature inside the tent down, even if there are a lot of small insects on the move.
 

The Living Areas

The tent has two larger rooms for socializing. It is also possible to open the door between the two rooms to get a large room. Large tinted windows along the sides and front provide a very pleasant light while protecting against visibility. The tent's windows are also equipped with curtains that are adjusted with zippers, which makes it easy to choose how much light or privacy you want. 

The outer room has a fantastic view, thanks to large windows, and can be used to eat or socialize. The removable floor makes it easy to clean so it does not matter if you have a lot of traffic in and out of the tent whatever the weather. The large front door can be opened in several different ways where you can adapt the opening to everything from the entire width of the tent to just one part. If you open the tent completely, the room works more like weather protection and gives the feeling of sitting outside under a roof.

The inner room with the sealed floor provides a good climate in bad weather and gets significantly warmer when it is a bit chilly outside. By closing the door to the outer room, you can then make sure that no cold drafts occur or any insects enter, which is a good feature in the evening. Both rooms are excellent to furnish.

Outwell HookTrack System
The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories to the tent. The included hooks (10 pcs) also make it possible to hang equipment or clothes up in the tent.
 

The Sleeping Cabin

The sleeping cabin is divided into three bedrooms (2 + 2 + 2). The walls between the bedrooms can be removed if you want to divide the tent into two bedrooms or gather the whole family in one large bedroom.

Outwell Dark Inners
A heavier dark fabric in the inner tent and in the outer tent fabric over the inner tent reduces the effect of many tent campers' worst enemy, the morning sun. The inner tent also has a curtain that can be lowered over the valve to reduce the light transmission from the valve.
 

Outwell Quick & Quiet
In addition to the zippers, one sleeping area has a magnetic strip so it can be opened and closed without a zip (Outwell Quick & Quiet Inner door). This is a solution that allows you to get in and out of the inner tent without waking the rest of the family.

Miscellaneous

The tent has well-sized ventilation at the back and under each window. It is easily adjusted to get the desired airflow. The inner tent is pre-assembled on delivery and does not need to be detached when the tent is packed. The ground pins are colour-marked, which makes them easy to mount despite their size. The tent comes in two bags, one with poles and one with the tent.
