A tent that is not only as spacious as a larger caravan but also provides a really good comfort on the campsite. Also, do not worry about it being unstable. Steel poles and a strong fabric with reinforced points and extra strong guylines in the front and back gives a very good stability even in stronger winds. The tent is tested to withstand winds up to 28 m / s, so do not let any windy days stop you from camping.
The new Vermont 7PE is a larger variant of the award-winning Outwell Montana 6PE. The family tent is a seven-person tent with three spacious dark-laden sleeping areas and two spacious living area. With a strong fabric with a hydrostatic head of 6000 mm and steel poles, it is a tent with a really good performance against both wind and water.
The tent is based on three zones. A principle that is common in England and is usually called the outer room, inner room and sleeping area. The outer room with removable floor that can either be used as a dining area or to hang wet clothes and store equipment. The next zone is the standard living area with a completely sealed floor where you can put in a carpet and furnish for socialising in the evenings or rainy days when you do not want to go in and out of the tent very much. The last zone is then the sleeping areas which consist of three sleeping areas.
Vermont 7PE has three openings, two from the sides and one from the front. The two side openings on the tent make both the sleeping area and the inner room easily accessible, while the large opening at the front provides direct access to the outer room and opens up the tent on hot days. The large door in the front can be opened in a number of different ways where you can adapt the opening to everything from the entire width of the tent, one side or just the top.
Outwell Quick & Quiet
The door between the living area and the outer room and the door to one of the sleeping areas has a magnetic strip in addition to the zip so it can be opened and closed without a zip. A solution that makes it easy to get between the tent's rooms, get in and out of the inner tent without waking the rest of the family and to get in and out of the tent without having to use the zip (if the outer door is open).
Outwell Crossflow Ventilation
The ventilation at the back can be opened up completely to create extra air flow in the tent during hot days or in the morning. The ventilation at the front is also considerably increased to get a better continuous flow. Since one of the tent's entrances also has a mesh door you can open up the tent to keep the temperature down even if there are a lot of insects around.
The tent has two larger rooms for socialising. It is also possible to open the door between the two rooms to get a large room. Large tinted windows along the sides and the panoramic windows at the front provide a very pleasant light while shielding from view. The tent's windows are also equipped with folding curtains, which makes it easy to choose how much light or transparency you want.
The outer room has a fantastic view and can be used to sit and eat or to socialise. The removable floor makes it easy to clean so it does not matter as much if you have a lot of traffic in and out of the tent in all weathers. The outer tent has a protection on the outside at the bottom around the outer room to keep moisture away and reduce the risk of cold drafts. The large door in the front can be opened in a number of different ways where you can adapt the opening to everything from the entire width of the tent or just one panel. If you open the tent completely, the room works more like a sunscreen and gives the feeling of sitting outside under a roof.
The inner room has a completely sealed floor. By closing the door to the outer room, you can then ensure that no cold drafts occur or any small insects enter. This is much appreciated in the evenings. The sewn in floor also provides a better climate in the tent with less condensation and better heat in colder weather.
Outwell HookTrack System
The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories to the tent. The included hooks also make it possible to hang equipment or clothes up in the tent.
The inner tent is divided into three sleeping areas (2 + 3 + 2). The walls between the sleeping areas can be removed if you want two sleeping areas or gather the whole family in one large sleeping area. A unique detail is the extra spacious inner tent (Outwell Ambassador Master sleeping area) which gives you extra space both in length and height compared to normal tent cabins where the beds take up the entire length and the back wall often provides low height in large parts of the room. Perfect for moving packs into the inner tent or just having a little extra space to move around.
Outwell Dark Inners
A thicker dark fabric throughout the inner tent minimises the effect of many tent campers' worst enemy: the morning sun. The fabric above the inner tent also has less light transmission. The inner tent also has a curtain that can be lowered over the valve to reduce the light transmission from the valve.
The tent fabric is completely waterproof with taped seams and is treated with flame retardant. The main part of the tent also has a sealed floor sewn to the outer tent. The front section (outer room) has a loose floor with folded edges and the outer fabric has a folded edge. All poles have the same length and the pegs are colour-coded for easier assembly.
