The display clearly shows the capacity of the battery and the amount of power consumed by the connected devices. Connect several devices simultaneously and charge via mains, a solar panel or from the car. You can also charge your HPS-600 while using it. Perfect if you have a solar panel.
Thanks to a very durable battery combined with several built-in safety features, Hyundai's Power Station has one of the longest lifespans on the market.
Connections
The Hyundai HPS-600 Power Station, can for example be used for the following
Unit | Number of charges/hours (approx.) |
Mobile Phone (10-15 Wh) | 40+ |
Headlamp (3-6 Wh) | 85+ |
GoPro (5,5 Wh) | 90+ |
Digital Camera (8 Wh) | 70+ |
Tablet (25-42 Wh) | 12+ |
Laptop (50 Wh) | 10+ |
Cooling box, thermoelectric: 45Wh | 10 hours |
Compressor-driven cooling box: (0,35 Ah) | 85-130 hours |
32 LCD TV: 100-150 Wh | +3 hours |
CPAP: (40W): | 10-20 hours |
You can recharge your Hyundai HPS-600 in three different ways:
Electrical outlet 230V
Connect the HPS-600 to the electrical outlet and charge it. The display shows the charging status. 150W Charger (included) - charges from 0% to 100% in about 3.5 hours.
Solar power
Connect it to a solar panel (max 240W). A Hyundai 150W solar panel charges it in between 5-10 hours.
Car
Charge it in the car via a 12V socket (cable is available as an accessory). Full charge in about 5 hours at 10A (10 hours at 5A).
Because the HPS-600 can recharge several devices at the same time, the entire family's phones and other electronics can be kept charged during the camping trip. Combined with a compressor-driven cooling box, it is also perfect for tent camping as it makes it possible to bring refrigerated goods even on longer trips. This is because compressor-driven cooling boxes are significantly more energy-efficient than ordinary cooling boxes. Combined with a solar panel, you are completely self-sufficient in electricity.
Thanks to Hyundai's LiFePO4 battery cells and control unit, the HPS-600 has a very long service life. Where most power stations have a capacity of 80% after about 500 discharges, Hyundai has 80% after 2000 discharges. It also has built-in overload protection, short-circuit protection, overvoltage / under voltage protection, overheating protection and discharge protection to ensure long service life.
Power Station batteries require no maintenance other than charging. During the periods when you use the battery, it is best to store it with the charger connected. This is best for the battery and it also means that the device is always ready for use.
If the Power Station is to be stored for a longer period of time without use, remove the charger and charge it approximately every three months to maximize service life.
