Dometic's bestseller Ace Air is an awning with air ducts and a depth of 325 cm. The tent is extremely easy to assemble and pitch and can be mounted on both caravan and motorhome thanks to double bead strips. Just attach the tent fabric to the strip on the caravan or motorhome awning, put four ground poles in the corners and pump up the integrated channels in the tent fabric that form the frame from a valve on the tent. Then attach the seal to the caravan and the tent is ready to move into. Large windows around the tent and in the roof provide good light and a really good view.

Dometic Ace Air Pro is an awning that not only has a really high level of comfort but is also easy and fast to pitch. Thanks to the depth of 325 cm and the curved air ducts that provide a good roof height throughout the tent, there is plenty of space for furniture without the awning becoming cramped. The fact that it has doors from both sides gives additional freedom to furnish and still keep the caravan or motorhome easily accessible. If you then want to open up the tent more, both the front and side sections open up. Both doors have mosquito nets, which provides really good ventilation without getting small insects into the room.
 

Pitching

Dometic Ace Pro has two bead strips of 5 and 7 mm so it fits both caravans and motorhomes. The Dometic Multi Height System also makes it easy to adjust the height by opening a zipper high up at the side of the tent.

Caravan: The caravan needs a straight part of the strip that is 500 cm. If one side of the tent ends up over a window or a hatch, it can be sealed with the help of poles or limpets (not included).
Motorhome: The rail in the box awning must be 500 cm for the tent to fit. To measure the height, measure from the bottom of the awning down to the ground, feel free to measure both front and back of the awning box. It is important that the dimension does not exceed 265 cm on either side.

Questions and Answers Dometic Air Channels

1. How durable are the air ducts?
The channels consist of three layers. First one layer of canvas, then a protective layer of PVC and then comes the air tube itself in TPU. The construction makes the ducts more resistant to wind than steel and fiberglass rods. It is important, however, that you only use a pump with a pressure gauge and do not pump up a higher pressure than that specified for the tent.

2. What happens if there is a hole in the duct or a valve breaks? Is the tent collapsing?
The ducts are separated by valves. So the tent does not collapse if there are holes in one air duct. They can often also be repaired with an airtight tape. Both ducts and valves are completely replaceable.
